Laurie Star, our Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor, is a professional who has completed a comprehensive training curriculum developed by Intuit. She has been awarded these credentials because of the knowledge, education and experience to understand and explain the software. She is now available to help small businesses and individuals to maintain a comprehensive set of financial records.
As the Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor Laurie works with our existing client base to train and implement QuickBooks® software. Laurie uses hands-on, one-on-one training sessions to guide our clients with simple through more complex QuickBooks® tasks. Laurie has over twenty years of bookkeeping, payroll, organization, systems and management experience working with individuals as well as private and public companies. Laurie has an exceptional rapport with our clients which allows her to customize training to their specific individual needs.
Laurie received her Bachelor’s of Arts with a major in Economics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Since joining Friedman, Suvalle & Salomon in 2003, Laurie has achieved her QuickBooks® ProAdvisor certificate for QuickBooks®.
Laurie resides in Newton and has two sons. Ben is a junior at UMASS Amherst and Justin is a senior at Newton South High School.
